This beautiful, freshly painted and remodeled one bedroom house in a safe neighborhood in Eureka has a queen size bed in the bedroom, and two pull out sofa beds in the living room, one making into a double bed and the other a twin. Therefore, it sleeps 5 people in total. It is quiet and private, as well as centrally located. It also contains a full bathroom with a shower (no tub) and kitchen, as well as a washer and dryer. The kitchen contains a full-size refrigerator, stove with oven, microwave, coffee maker, and toaster oven. There are plenty of utensils, pots, pans and dishes, as well as some condiments in the refrigerator. There are also plenty of towels, and at least two sets of sheets for every bed. There are ample blankets as well as forced air heat to keep you warm at night. If you are a traveling nurse, or simply need to go to a hospital, this house is located less than a mile and a half from two hospitals: St. Joseph's and also General. It is a beautiful drive to either of the state or national Redwood Parks, The Eureka drive boasts amazing views of Humboldt Bay as you cross over the Samoa Bridge. The drive between Manila and Arcata will afford views of what are known as the "Arcata Bottoms". Complete with grazing cattle, sheep and horses, the Mad River Slough and the forested hills that surround Humboldt State University. Thank you for your interest in our vacation rental. We have a comfortable 1 bedroom/1 bathroom condo located above 108 F St in Eureka, on the waterfront in the Old Town district. The vacation rental is on the second floor of a historic Eureka building, there is no elevator available in the building. This location is in the center of Old Town half a block to the waterfront to the North and next to the Gazebo to the South. The bedroom has a king size bed. The living room has 2 comfortable leather chairs, a leather couch and a flat screen television with DirectTv. The condo has 6 large widows giving plenty of natural light and views of the waterfront and Old Town. In the kitchen you will find a full selection of cooking pots and pans and basic cooking tools to help you out. There are dishes and glassware for 4 guests, even the martini glasses; of course there is a built in microwave oven and dishwasher. One of the great things about Old Town is that when you walk out the door you have the choice of many restaurants, coffee houses and a couple of local bakeries. During the spring and summer Old Town has its on horse carriage to take in a very unique tour of Old Town. Marty and his horse Cinnamon can be seen out the South window where they pick up passengers, look for them in our pictures below. Vehicle parking is on-street. Eureka is a city of almost 30,000 located on the Pacific North coast of California. We have an active arts community with a monthly Arts Alive Night on the first Saturday of each month in Old Town, there are also many local art galleries for viewing or purchasing art.
